12 Ford This car was built from scratch pieces in 1987 by "Ron" and Mary Miles in Rockford Illinois. Ron and Mary moved from Rockford to Sparta, Illinois, in the late 1900's where Mary and "Ron" grew up and lived with her mother until he passed away in 1999. Since "Rons" passing, Mary has been visiting with an "old" High School classmate, Don Wiley. Here is a picture of the two of them at The Steelville, Illinois 4th of July parade, lining up at the end of the parade. I hope you enjoy the picture as much as we enjoyed preparation for the parade and the thrill of driving it down the main street of Steelville. The parade has been going on every year since 1945.
